Sunday School

At the same time as the Sunday church service, children and teens up to the age of 20 gather in small classes to be taught the Scriptures, including the Lord’s Prayer, the Ten Commandments, the Sermon on the Mount, and Bible stories. They also talk about prayer and how to make the truths they’re learning practical in their lives.

They are also taught from the Christian Science weekly Bible lessons, using questions and answers adapted to their level of understanding.

The Sunday School curriculum is centered around the study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, written by the founder of the religion Mary Baker Eddy.

Children too young for these activities are cared for in the Children’s Room.
